9 was conceived in 1999 by 9 partners, at 9:00 PM, on the 9th floor of number 9 of a building in Lisbon. 9 is lucky, both for us and our customers’ brands. “Nine” comes from “new”, nove/novo in Portuguese, neuve/nuevo in Spanish, nove/nuovo in Italian. In numerology, it represents the transition from old to new, rebirth, the start of a cycle. Human beings take 9 months to be born.
